As part of Columbia College’s ongoing commitment to the military community, we’re excited to introduce Military-Affiliated Benefit. Beginning Fall 2021, we’re extending our reduced military tuition rates and additional benefits to spouses and dependents of currently serving military members[1] and CC-affiliated military installation[2] employees, their spouses and dependents[3].

Military benefits

We can help you navigate Tuition Assistance and GI Bill® benefits. Additionally, you may apply for federal Pell Grants, which are awarded based on financial need and do not have to be repaid.

Scholarships

We offer several veteran scholarships. This includes funding to support the academic endeavors of veterans who have exhausted veteran educational benefits.

Military credit

Transfer your military experience and training to save time and money. We'll provide an unofficial review to help you determine how many credits you may receive.

1 Currently serving: A member of the United States Armed Forces (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force) that is currently serving whether on Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve status. Members of the Guard and Reserve must be drilling members or on active duty. Service members that are in the Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR) are not considered as currently serving for purposes of the Military-Affiliated Benefit.

2 Installation employees, their spouses and dependents of these installations are eligible for the new Military-Affiliated Benefit.

3 Dependents must be under the age of 25 prior to the first day of the semester to be eligible to receive the dependent benefit.
